Christmas at Fred’s is all about sharing good food with family and friends - made simple.
Our festive range includes everything from premium meats and house-made accompaniments to ready-to-serve dishes, seasonal salads, and thoughtful gifts - all designed to help you entertain with ease.
Please read through the following information to make your ordering process as smooth as possible.
WHEN CAN I PLACE MY CHRISTMAS ORDER?
Orders are open now and will close on Sunday 14 December 2025.
We recommend ordering early, as popular items and collection times often book out before the cut-off.
PRICING & PAYMENT
Butchery Orders
All Christmas meats are priced by the kilogram. For larger items such as hams, turkeys, ducks, geese and turducken, weights can vary.
To secure your order, we take a deposit of approximately 80% of the expected price at the time of ordering. Once your item is prepared and weighed, any small remaining balance will be payable at pickup.
As these are natural, variable products, exact sizes can’t be guaranteed — but we’ll always do our best to match your preferred size so you take home the perfect centrepiece for your table.
Catering Orders
All catering items are sold at set prices. Full payment is made at checkout to confirm your booking.
For serving sizes and how many people each dish feeds, please refer to the description under each individual item on our website.
DELIVERY
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer delivery for both butchery and catering orders.
All Christmas orders must be collected in-store from Fred’s Providore.
Please note: fresh seafood can only be collected on Christmas Eve (Wednesday 24 December 2025).

Christmas Trading Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6am – 5pm. Please note: the store will close at 2pm on Christmas Eve (Wednesday 24 December 2025).
SHELF LIFE & STORAGE
- Cooked meats: 4 days from the day of collection
- Salads & seafood: 3 days from the day of collection
If you’re collecting early, please consider when you plan to serve your meal and choose your pickup date accordingly.
Keep all items refrigerated below 5°C until ready to serve or reheat.
CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS
Changes can be made by contacting us before 14 December 2025.
After this date, we can’t guarantee changes, and no refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the cut-off.
IN-STORE AVAILABILITY
Fred’s Providore will remain open right through to 2pm on Christmas Eve with plenty of festive options available in-store at our butchery. However, please note catering items are pre-order only.
